CSM Group has been selected to receive funding through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) Going PRO Talent Fund to support ongoing employee training and development.

Since 2013, LEO's Going PRO Talent Fund has placed millions of dollars into the West Michigan economy for short-term training in high-demand occupations.

As a people-first organization, CSM Group works hard to ensure that employees are engaged and satisfied in their daily responsibilities, and knows that employee engagement is best achieved through training and education.

"Last year, we were able to secure funding through the Going PRO Talent Fund, which allowed us to provide training opportunities for our employees that significantly supported their safety, leadership, and technical expertise," said Holly Wasielewski, talent acquisition manager. "As construction technologies evolve, it's important that we provide our professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to be successful, especially in the highly technical market sectors that we work in."

This year, employers in Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon and Ottawa counties were awarded $13,307,802 in training funds. Statewide, over $40 million was awarded to more than 1,000 Michigan businesses.
