CSM Group promotes Charlie Taft to senior safety specialist

CSM Group is pleased to announce that Charlie Taft has been promoted to senior safety specialist.

As a senior safety specialist, Charlie is ultimately responsible for continually maintaining an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the organization to create a culture that prioritizes effective safety protocol. He provides overall leadership, professional knowledge, and expertise in the administration and support of health and safety processes to include regulatory agency compliance, company policies, and human capital development. Charlie also provides advice and guidance to project staff which includes project directors, senior project/construction managers, project/construction managers, and project engineers.

"Charlie's knowledge and diversified experience in the construction industry make him the perfect fit for this role," said Anita Pelak, safety manager. Charlie has 20 years of experience in project and safety management and has been an integral part of several CSM Group projects, including CD-12 (180 E. Water Street) and Bronson MOP #2 (Bronson Cancer Pavilion).
