CSM Group honored as top safety leader contractor by Associated Builders and Contractors

CSM Group is proud to announce it has earned a National Safety Pinnacle Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, which was presented at the 33^rd annual Excellence in Construction Awards during ABC Convention 2023 in Orlando, Florida, on March 16.

CSM Group received a Pinnacle Award for its focus on total human health amongst its employees, their greatest asset, and its 2022 Diamond STEP Safety Management System status. The award was presented to only 10 general contractors in the nation.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized for our safety culture,” said Stuart Mason, chief executive officer at CSM Group. “At CSM Group, we lead with safety, and it's ingrained in everything that we do, from the way we manage our projects to how we train and equip our employees. We believe that it’s a basic human right to have a safe place to work and strive to help others understand behaviors to reduce and prevent workplace injuries.”

During the selection process, CSM Group was judged on self-evaluation scores, lost workday case rates, total recordable incident rates, leading indicator use, process and program innovations, and interviews conducted by members of ABC’s National Health and Safety Committee.
