Max Maharaj joins CSM Group as a project engineer

CSM Group is pleased to welcome Max Maharaj, project engineer, to the team.

Maharaj is a recent graduate of the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. During his collegiate career, he held multiple co-ops with engineering firms, most recently with Stantec Consulting. As a co-op student, he reviewed development design submissions for accuracy to standards for municipal clients, inspected construction activities for quality and safety on land construction development projects, and prepared estimates for proposed capital improvements.

As a project engineer, Maharaj will provide project management and administrative support, including performing daily and/or weekly site inspections for safety and quality purposes and writing the required reports based on those inspections. He will also assist with writing scopes of work, bid solicitations, pre-construction meetings and walk-throughs, post-bid interviews, compiling and distributing progress meeting agendas and minutes, and receiving, reviewing and distributing submittals, shop drawings, and construction documents.
