CSM Group will have a hand in bringing another impactful development to downtown Kalamazoo. The company was selected by Catalyst Development to serve as the construction manager on a $70 million project that will offer housing, office, and parking at the southwest corner of North Edwards and Water Street, across from the Arcadia Creek Festival Place.

The existing site – which is a parking lot for downtown businesses – will be transformed into a 290,000-square-foot mixed-use building featuring two floors of residential housing, four floors of office space, and a parking garage with more than 300 spots.

The Kalamazoo Promise Institute, Communities in Schools, Warner Norcross and Judd, LLP, and Southwest Michigan First are some of the new building’s future tenants.

The project is scheduled to break ground in July of 2018 with an anticipated completion date in June of 2020.
