CSM Group is proud to announce that it has received the General Captive Insurance (GCI) 2020 Risk Control Award. This award is presented to members of GCI who display a dedication to safety and risk control by implementing policies, procedures, and automations to reduce risk.
“This is an exciting moment for us,” said Julie Byrne, chief strategy officer at CSM Group. “We pride ourselves on our dedication to safety and ability to mitigate risk, so to be recognized for our efforts is very rewarding.”
The criteria for receiving this award include a high Risk Control Assessment score, low workers compensation frequency rate, low auto liability frequency rate, regular attendance at semi-annual risk control workshops and board meetings, and active participation in claim reviews and claim satisfaction surveys.
“The proactive safety culture, driven by our team of environmental health and safety professionals, helps us to manage our loss control efforts,” said Todd McDonald, chief operations officer at CSM Group. “That detailed focus on safety is also engrained in our project management staff, who keep our job sites safe and risk-free.”
