CSM Group is pleased to announce that Kelly Germain has been promoted to an IT security administrator.
Germain joined CSM Group in December of 2019 with over 10 years of experience in technical support and documentation roles. She holds several industry certifications, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, and others.
"Kelly is a main contributor to the IT department's initiatives, goals, and day-to-day operations," said Derrick Quintanilla, director of IT at CSM Group. "She is the consummate teammate and a role model to our interns. This promotion is not only deserved but also a reflection of the hard work and great customer service that Kelly has provided to the department and the company."
In this role, she owns CSM Group's corporate cybersecurity system and serves as the point person for the company's cybersecurity team. She also manages and maintains the frameworks, processes, tools, and consultancy necessary for the IT team to properly manage risk and make risk-based decisions related to IT activities. Germain also creates and facilitates information systems security management education and training in regulatory and industry standards for all employees and ensures overall IT compliance with regulatory requirements through proactive planning, communication, and relationships.
