The Walt East Award is one of CSM Group's most prestigious awards and one that was created from the spirit of a CSM Group teammate: Walt East, Steve East's father.
Walt’s relentless commitment to his clients and pride in his work impressed everyone who met him, and his unique ability to build lasting relationships with clients and co-workers made him a person that everyone wanted to work with.
Although Walt retired from CSM Group in 1998, he continued to teach us what we want to achieve as an organization; he taught us how to create a culture that applauds success and encourages employees. Most importantly, he left us with a legacy of exuding servant leadership attributes through everything we do.
