The multi-phased project included consolidating occupied office space in the Stevens T. Mason and Constitution Hall buildings. Work consisted of multiple temporary moves collaborating closely with the move management company, Jones Lang LaSalle.
CSM Group’s role as the construction manager involved working closely with the client and design group to create estimates, budgets, and conceptual designs starting in the pre-construction phase and continuing through the construction phase.
The project included demolition on all ceilings and interior walls except elevator, stairwell, and electrical rooms, along with new ceilings and permanent interior wall systems for new toilet rooms, conference, and break rooms. Renovation to elevator lobbies and repair to existing exterior stone-clad wall systems was also included.
New plumbing, fire protection, alarm systems, HVAC systems, and a building automation system were replaced and installed, including installing new lighting and controls, electrical power systems, and new phone/data systems.
