In the fall of 2018, Lakeview School District approved more than $10.5 million for upgrades to Riverside and Westlake elementary schools. CSM Group was selected as the construction manager to execute the successful renovations of both facilities, as well as oversee renovations to Lakeview Middle School.

The renovations to Riverside and Westlake include new art, music, and science classrooms, as well as a new gymnasium for each school. Renovations will also be done to office spaces at both schools to create secure entrances, as well as the installation of new heating and cooling systems, window replacements, and upgrades to fire, PA, and security camera systems. The current gym and cafeteria spaces will also be converted into permanent cafeterias with fully functioning kitchens.
