## The KRESA Career Center will be a centralized facility that hosts most of the county’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
The KRESA (Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency) Career Connect Campus is a new facility being constructed in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to provide students with career and technical education. This campus will serve as a hub for high school students to explore various career pathways, gain hands-on experience, and develop essential skills for the workforce. Courses at the center will offer specific skill training and certifications for high school students in high-demand areas based on state and local market analysis and input.
The construction of the campus reflects a commitment to modern educational practices and collaboration between local schools, businesses, and community organizations. The facility is designed to accommodate a range of programs, including those in healthcare, manufacturing, and technology, aligning with the needs of the local job market. By offering state-of-the-art resources and equipment, the KRESA Career Connect Campus aims to prepare students for successful careers and support regional workforce development. The project highlights the importance of equipping young people with practical skills and opportunities to thrive in their future careers.
## "A brighter future for our community."
"For our students to graduate fully ready for the future, they will need a world-class education that equips them with in-demand skills, industry-recognized credentials, and experiences that lead to successful employment. It’s exciting to be able to bring educators, industry and community partners together to design a world-class system that will promote cross-sector cooperation and include historically non-traditional students, leading to a brighter future for our community."
