CSM Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Will Buttars, STSC, to Program Executive.
Since he joined CSM Group in 2017, he has been instrumental in the development of CSM Group's relationships with several Fortune 500 pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and nutritional companies across the Midwest. His resolute leadership style, paired with his knowledge of complex processes and systems, will continue to guide CSM Group's Life Sciences division toward success.
"In under one year of managing one of CSM Group's largest contracts, Will has vastly exceeded expectations and has hit his stride in leading a team and cementing a relationship with our client," said John Van Zweden, PE, Vice President of Life Sciences at CSM Group. "He exemplifies the title of Program Executive in his management, hard work, and dedication."
With more than 15 years of project management experience in the industrial processing and life sciences industries, Buttars has worked with many of the world's largest food and beverage producers. He has managed individual projects valued in excess of $75,000,000 and is leading the execution of a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company's capital project portfolio, which will see approximately $250,000,000 in site investment per annum for at least the next two years. He has a diverse technical and administrative background that is leveraged for subject matter expertise, particularly in MEP trade divisions, as well as project controls and end-to-end management of industrial projects and programs.
As a Program Executive, Buttars is responsible for the overall leadership and execution of projects and people while promoting collaboration between CSM Group and its clients. Besides being involved in projects from the pre-construction phase through project closeout, he also pursues new business opportunities in conjunction with CSM Group's sales team.
