CSM Group is proud to announce that the company will serve as Bronson Healthcare’s selected partner for the construction of its new $60 million cancer center in downtown Kalamazoo.

The five-story, 85,000-square-foot outpatient cancer pavilion will be built on Bronson Methodist Hospital’s campus at the southeast corner of Vine and John Streets, and will house offices for medical oncology, hematology, and infusion services.

“For over 36 years, CSM Group has been humbled to be Bronson Healthcare Group’s select construction manager, trusted to construct their regional wellness vision for our surrounding communities,” said Jim Feltch, president and chief executive officer of CSM Group. “Our team is inspired by Bronson’s pursuit of a regional cancer care program and look forward to building this community-centered landmark.”

With an anticipated completion date of January 2021, CSM Group will work closely with Diekema Hamann Architecture + Engineering to ensure that the facility is completed on time and within budget in the safest manner possible.

“Bronson says a driving factor to this project is ‘to further enhance the quality of care’ and ‘improve the overall experience,’ in which CSM Group integrates into all our project delivery models,” said Feltch. “What we have learned from our partner is that safety, quality, and optimized delivery comes from establishing the right model, positive collaboration between all project team members, and attention to the details. CSM Group is excited to collaborate with the tradesmen and women in our region that enable the details to come to life to build something very special.”
