CSM Group announced it has appointed Julie Byrne as chief strategy officer (CSO). Byrne will advance the strategy and positioning of the organization by identifying growth opportunities and resource allocation and providing advice on market analysis and best practices.

In her role as CSO, Byrne will focus on guiding CSM Group strategy, corporate development, and partnerships, along with the company’s positioning within the market. Byrne has been in the project management space for over 15 years and has extensive experience in strategic planning, operational success, and business leadership.

During her time at CSM Group, Byrne has helped develop internal processes that have streamlined the project start-up process and is someone that others in the organization know that they can look to. In 2011, Byrne was the recipient of CSM Group’s Excellence in Customer Service Award for providing her best service to external and internal clients on a daily basis.
