Brett Butcher joins CSM Group as a safety specialist

CSM Group is pleased to welcome Brett Butcher, safety specialist, to the team.

As a safety specialist, Butcher will work closely with senior project managers, project managers, construction managers, and project engineers to ensure safety compliance and the coordination of safety programs. He will perform job site safety audits to ensure all safety rules and regulations are being followed, and will also be responsible for required reporting and recordkeeping, along with scheduling educational safety conferences and workshops to ensure CSM Group is up-to-date on new safety methods and procedures.

Butcher has 13 years’ experience in safety management operations; most recently, he worked for Radiant Church where he supervised the functionality of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire and life safety, and elevators. He also worked closely with outside contractors, when necessary, to perform facility maintenance.

He is also a former volunteer firefighter and EMT-B, having spent time with the Plainwell Department of Public Safety and Larkspur Fire Protection District, and holds Firefighter I and II and EMT-B certifications.
