CSM Group is pleased to announce that Laura MacLeod has joined the organization as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. MacLeod, who began her new role on Monday, September 28, will lead CSM Group’s marketing and business development efforts, guiding the firm’s brand, client growth strategy, and market expansion across its core sectors.
MacLeod joins CSM Group after nearly 21 years with Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing for Stryker’s Mako and Enabling Technologies business. Before that, she was Vice President of Marketing for Orthopedic Instruments, and she previously held senior director and director roles in marketing and business development for the same division.
Her career spans nearly every side of the business. She began at Stryker in 2005 in buyer/planner, materials and operations leadership roles, then moved into marketing management before spending seven years in the field, first as a sales representative in Colorado and later as a regional sales manager overseeing Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. That combination of operational, sales, and marketing leadership gives her a practical understanding of how commercial strategy connects to execution.
“Laura is a leader who has built brands, led sales teams, and understands what customers in highly regulated, specialized industries need from a partner,” said Stuart Mason, chief executive officer of CSM Group. “Her background in healthcare and advanced technology aligns closely with the markets we serve, and her track record of growing a business from the ground up will help us reach new clients while strengthening the relationships we’ve built since 1983.”
MacLeod holds a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and French from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business. She completed the Harvard Leadership Program for the Americas and EMEA through Harvard Business Publishing in 2019. She is based in Kalamazoo.
