CSM Group will present a construction safety, technology, and training summit at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

SAFETY, TECHNOLOGY, AND TRAINING

CSM Group will bring its Safety, Technology, and Training Expo to Grand Rapids this February, based on the success of the Kalamazoo event last July.

“We had a huge turnout in July and were able to engage attendees with new and important innovations and necessities in the construction industry,” said Jarrod Wilson, Director of IT Services for CSM Group. “We knew it was time to do the same thing in Grand Rapids.”

The free one-day event will be at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM on February 14, 2007. It will feature industry experts, product demonstrations, networking, lunch, and prize drawings. There’s still time to register!

“We are hosting this expo so people in the construction field can hear from leading industry experts and learn more about the latest technologies,” said Josh Rohs, Director of Communication and Guidance at CSM Group. “One of our speakers, John Stivers, LEED AP, PE, will be there to discuss green building practices. We encourage trade contractors to start training themselves, have sustainable practices, and to learn technologies that help minimize waste.”

Some of the vendors that will be in attendance include the American Red Cross, SSI (Safety Services Incorporated), US Green Building Council, Access Safety, Sprint Nextel, Healing Hearts, and Analytical Testing. The American Red Cross will have training information onhand to help contractors stay up-to-date on their necessary training pieces.

More than 1,000 owners, contractors, architects, etc. have been invited to attend the CSM Group Safety, Technology, and Training Expo. “The expo not only provides valuable information, but it also allows for a lot of meaningful networking,” says Wilson. “At the end of the day, we want attendees to leave the expo with useful new information, leads, and with the desire to use more green building practices.”

If you would like to register for the Trade Expo on February 14, 2007, email to rsvp@csmgroup.com, visit www.csmgroup.com/expo, or please call Anna Warren at 616-458-5600.
