CSM Group Welcomes Leed-Accredited Lisa Prasher To Its' ‘Talent-Based’ Construction Staff
To strengthen the company's position
in the "green buildings" construction
industry in West Michigan, CSM
Group has hired Lisa Prasher, a
LEED-accredited (Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design)
professional in new construction,
existing buildings and commercial
interiors. Lisa is the second LEEDaccredited
member among CSM's
"talent-based" construction staff.
According to Steve East, President of
CSM Group, Lisa will also be heading
up the company's new business effort
in the Grand Rapids area. She will be
working with Doug Phillips, CSM's
Director of Business Development, in
carrying the company's construction
management message to clients in
this new market.
"CSM Group has been involved in
numerous projects in and around
Grand Rapids, including the
Georgetown Ice Arena and new City
Hall and Department of Public Works
in Walker, as well as projects for
Meijer and Home Depot."
East continues, "Lisa is a natural for
this position. She has been a member
of the Grand Rapids community since
1988. Plus, she's been involved in a
variety of construction projects there
while working for other firms. We're
looking to her to cultivate relationships
and help establish a greater presence
for CSM Group in the Greater Grand
Rapids and West Michigan area."
Lisa's career in construction began in
1988 as Project Manager for Spectrum
Health, formerly Butterworth Hospital, in
Grand Rapids. In 1997, she became
Project Manager for a Grand Rapidsbased
construction management/
general contractor company, then
was hired as Project Manager by
an international construction
management firm's West Michigan
division in 2002.
Lisa is currently working as Project
Director on CSM Group's districtwide
facility improvements for Otsego
Public Schools in Otsego, Michigan.
This project includes a new high
school as well as renovations or
additions at all of the district's
other facilities.
Lisa and her husband, Greg, an
attorney, have a seven-year-old
daughter, Alexa, who attends Walker
Charter Academy |
