CSM competitively bids every trade and supervises the construction on-site, from the moment the first shovel is turned until the ribbon cutting is complete. Our early involvement allows us to bring everyone together to begin the process with shared expectations and goals, and a clear understanding of each individual’s role. We see to it that the architect’s ideas are captured and the engineer’s specifications are matched, while ensuring that budgets and deadlines are met.

Pre-Construction. Our experts are also skilled and experienced in providing pre-construction services that add efficiencies and economies to your project, while avoiding potential problems. We can assist in increasing your estimating and budgeting accuracy, and in identifying and selecting ideal key contractors. CSM will even help you present need, vision and opportunity with clarity to your boards, committees, supporters and lenders. Our pre-construction services include feasibility studies, site inspections, zone and code compliance, pre-bond logistical support, value engineering, design review, constructability review, permit acquisition, and more.

Construction. CSM Group manages all aspects of the construction phase of a project. Our project team will ensure successful implementation of the project plan. Controlling the schedule is a process that starts immediately. The development of a master project schedule is the first step in schedule control. The process starts at the team integration meeting, where responsibilities for specific tasks are assigned.

Post-Construction. Beyond any maintenance, repairs or warranty work, CSM also provides operation and maintenance training to assure a smooth transition. Follow-up and evaluation are performed at key intervals to further ensure your satisfaction. Among our many post-construction services are pre- and post-occupancy inspections, occupancy certification, enforcement of guarantees and warrantees, pre-warranty expiration inspections, as-built documentation, operations manuals and instruction training.
