CSM Group Retained for Branch County Community Health Facility
Southwest Michigan—Renovations and additions to Branch County Community Health's new 7,000-square-foot MRI imaging facility in Coldwater are on schedule for completion in March, 2006, according to Todd McDonald, Project Director for CSM Group, the construction management firm in charge of the operation. This $1.75 million, two-story (plus basement level) structure is a nuclear medicine facility that includes a fixed MRI and helipad site.
"This has been a challenging project," says McDonald, "because in addition to renovation of the existing facility, an entirely new section was added to the building. This required rerouting of the hospital's entire electrical service and permanent oxygen supply, as well as the helipad."
