Mark Roys Appointed to City of Grand Rapids Tax Increment Finance Authority
Grand Rapids, MI – Mark Roys, Group Vice President at CSM Group, has been appointed to the City of Grand Rapids Tax Increment Finance Authority as of August 12, 2008. Roys will be appointed to a four year term ending the first Monday of January, 2011.
The Board supervises and controls the Authority, which uses increased tax revenues in a geographic area to finance improvements in the area. The Board acts in the best interest of the City to analyze economic change and its impact upon development areas within the Monroe North area and to develop long-range plans to promote the growth of the development area. The Board consists of eleven members who have an interest in the economic development of the community.
