CSM Group Offers Use of Company Trailer for Charitable Causes
Southwest Michigan—Citing requests for event support from many not-for-profit organizations, CSM Group modified a 10' x 32' prefabricated mobile office trailer for use by such organizations. The trailer can be used as an office or headquarters for fundraising or other charitable events at no cost.
According to Doug Phillips, Director of Business Development for CSM Group, the trailer is fully equipped with table and chairs, power hook-up, sliding glass windows with screens, and air conditioning and heat. Phillips says, “Ann Feldmeier, Development Director for the Community Healing Centers, borrowed it for last summer’s four-day ‘Roof Sit’ event and she loved it. It was twice the size of the motor home they were using. They used it as their ‘command central’ where staff members manning a bank of telephones accepted pledges. They even installed a webcam on top the trailer so organizers could broadcast live from the event and generate more enthusiasm.”
Phillips adds that CSM Group also loaned the trailer to organizers of Battle Creek’s Field of Flight, Air Show and Balloon Festival last July, the “Jam 4 Life” event in August, and the Girl Scouts of Glowing Embers Council in October.
