Jon Cooney joins CSM Group full-time as a project engineer

CSM Group is pleased to announce that Jon Cooney has joined us as a full-time project engineer.

Cooney was a Class of 2020 intern and supported the execution team at the 180 E. Water Street project in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. He recently graduated Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a bachelor's degree in construction management.

As a project engineer, Cooney will provide project management and administrative support, including performing daily and/or weekly site inspections for safety and quality purposes and writing the required reports based on those inspections. He will also assist with writing scopes of work, bid solicitations, pre-construction meetings and walk-throughs, post-bid interviews, compiling and distributing progress meeting agendas and minutes, and receiving, reviewing and distributing submittals, shop drawings, and construction documents.
