CSM Group is pleased to welcome Joel Reb, project manager, and Casey Simmons, construction manager, to the team.
Reb comes to CSM Group with more than 15 years of experience within the construction industry. Most recently, he served as vice president of site development and construction at Windward Development, where he managed all construction projects with an emphasis on contractor safety. He holds a bachelor’s degree in building construction management from Michigan State University, and also holds a Michigan Builder’s License.
As a project manager, Reb will provide leadership, direction and oversight support to projects during all phases of construction. He will also be responsible for coordinating the construction efforts, predicting and resolving conflicts before they impact the project, and delivering timely and cost-effective solutions for our clients. His first project will be Catalyst Development Company’s redevelopment of Old City Hall in Traverse City, Michigan (CD-13).
Simmons, a member of the U.S. Navy, has almost 20 years of experience in management. Prior to joining the company, he was an operations supervisor and area manager for Kilgore Flares Corporation, where he was responsible for identifying and scheduling projects and coordinating personnel activities to ensure projects were delivered on time and within budget. He is also an active member of the U.S. Navy as a first-line manager and supervisor. His responsibilities while on duty have included transportation/fleet management, training, project management, transportation and logistics management, and equipment operation.
Due to his ability to manage complex projects with an emphasis on safety and quality control, Simmons will be supporting CSM Group’s mid-South team in Memphis, Tennessee. There, he will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight through all phases of construction and will ensure the owner’s highest expectations are met by delivering all projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.
