Project Objectives

The Mission of the Kalamazoo County Juvenile
Home is to  protect the community from youthful
offenders by providing detention, day treatment
and educational programming to help them
become productive citizens

The Vision of the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home: The Juvenile Home will be a leader in residential and community-based treatment by providing community safety, innovative programming, services to families and financial efficiency in a state of the art facility

Provide a continuum of programming for youth
involved with the 9th Judicial Circuit Court from
secure long term residential programming to
community based services incorporating the
families and community in the treatment of our
youth

An emphasis on the use of sustainable products
as well as the use of a recycling program for
construction materials in an effort to minimize
the current and future impact on the environment
