Todd McDonald, President/Principal
Todd McDonald is the current President of CSM Group after serving as Group
Vice President for CSM Group since 2007. Todd joined CSM Group as Project
Engineer in 1988. As one of the original equity partners in the Firm, Todd has
helped support the growth of CSM from a local CM firm to a firm operating
nationally. His extensive experience in the industry is a proven asset to our
clients. Todd’s community involvement includes committee and board positions
with United Way, Lifespan, and Community Inclusive Recreation among many
others. |

Shannon Rice, Senior Project Manager/Principal
Shannon Rice joined CSM Group in 1988 and is currently Senior Project Manager. Shannon is responsible to direct and verify contract compliance by the trade contractors and ensure that the Owner’s highest expectations are met in respect to a quality finished project. Shannon’s experience and abilities include the coordination of all subcontractors, interpretation of specifications and drawings and acting as liaison between owners, architects and trade contractors. |

Dave Copeland, Chief Financial Officer
Dave Copeland joined CSM Group as Controller in 1995 and has been the Chief
Financial Officer since 2000. Dave is responsible for the overall accounting and
financial function of the organization along with office operations. He also
works closely with Project Directors and office accounting support staff to
ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting for all CSM Group
projects. Dave is a past President of Construction Financial Management
Association. |

Julie Byrne, Group Vice President
Julie Byrne was promoted Group Vice President February 2011, after serving as a Project Director from 2007-2010 and Project Manager in 2006. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. As Group Vice President Julie is responsible for overseeing all phases of the work directly with the project teams in developing construction sequencing plans, providing constructability reviews and matching building systems with budgets and owner expectations. A member of the NAWIC, she is knowledgeable, service oriented, and driven by excellence. Julie’s exceptional service has created lasting relationships for CSM Group. |

Mark Roys, P.E., Chief Operating Officer
Mark Roys was named Chief Operating Officer in April 2010, after serving as
Group Vice President of the Grand Rapids office from 2007 to 2010 and Project
Director in 2006. He is a retired Naval Officer, where he served with the Civil
Engineer Corps, holding positions in facility management, facilities
construction, program management and manpower management throughout the United
States, as well as in the United Kingdom, Spain and Japan. He received his
degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Arizona and his graduate
degree in construction engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a
registered professional engineer and a LEED accredited professional.

Steve East, Chief Executive Officer/Principal
Steve East has been Chief Executive Officer since May of 2000 where he
currently chairs the company Board of Directors. Steve joined CSM in May of 1986
as Director of Field Services. His family history of construction coupled with
his 31 years of construction experience in a variety of positions from Safety
Director to Project Superintendent, provides a sound foundation for his current
position. Steve demands a strong commitment to client satisfaction, teamwork and
quality construction.
