Every company is responsible for our planet’s wellbeing, but as a member of
the construction industry, CSM Group understands its direct and immediate impact
on the built environment. By providing services in all phases of the building
lifecycle, the potential to create positive change (ie: more efficient
buildings, greater cost savings, safer and healthier environments, etc.) is
significant.
CSM Group has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council since 2004 and
is a founding member of the Southwest Michigan Sustainable Business Forum. The
Southwest Michigan Sustainable Business Forum is a non-profit organization
working to promote business practices demonstrating environmental stewardship,
economic vitality, and social responsibility: the Triple Bottom Line.
The branded program Green CSM supports sustainable practices,
incorporating electronic (rather than paper) processes at every step. These
include internet-based project management tools, electronic billing, and an
online plan room to minimize the need for printed documents. Sustainability
requires high performance construction and a fusion of form and function to
lessen the future impacts of the project. CSM project teams are well suited to
employ “Green Building Principles” for any project.
Below are a few of the LEED Certified projects that CSM has completed and/or anticipating.
