Otsego Public Schools
The 2004 Otsego Public Schools Bond included a new High School, renovations and additions to the existing high school, middle school, and two elementaries. CSM Group alongside Tower Pinkster was an intregal part of the bond campaign, which culminated in a successful election result in September 2004.
The state of the art high school facility was a flag ship for the community and district. The 208,000 sq. ft., two story building consists of three wings which include: academic, athletic and fine arts. The design for the classrooms allows students to enjoy natural light in every classroom and provides them with a great learning environment including smart boards installed in each room. The academic wing has two beautiful gymnasiums, locker rooms, and a fitness center with an elevated running track that overlooks the practice gymnasium.
In the fine arts wing, the band, choir and art rooms surround the beautiful 800 seat auditorium which incorporates an innovative design and use of acoustic materials that rival many local auditoriums. The great hall ties the three wings together with elevated walkways and provides a comfortable and relaxing assembly area.
The success of this project can be attributed to the entire team consisting of the community, staff, contractors, architect and board members. Everyone’s expectations, attitudes and involvement truly brought out the best in the quality and workmanship of this facility.
