Sherman Lake YMCA Addition

Phase 2 of the Sherman Lake YMCA's 13,000 sf addition is currently underway. The new addition will include a gymnasium and stage area, bathrooms, office and
meeting rooms. An anticipated completion date of February 2012 is scheduled with a plan to offer more year-round options to serve more youth and families. |
NACD Senior Housing Complex

Kalamazoo's Northside Association for Community Development (NACD) held a ground breaking ceremony for their New Senior Housing Complex. The three-story, six -unit rental complex for low-income seniors is scheduled to start in March of 2012. The complex will also have three two-bedroom, 900 sf units and three one-bedroom, 770 sf units with an in-house laundry facility and elevator.

Residential Opportunities, Inc.
Great Lakes Center for Autism and Research

Western Michigan University and Residential Opportunities, Inc. have partnered to bring new World Class facility to Southwest Michigan called the Great Lakes Center for Autism and Research. The new facility location in Portage, Michigan will include renovations of the former Moose Lodge building on Portage Rd. and construction of a new outdoor activity area.
When complete the center will include an inpatient residential treatment center for up to 12 children with autism, along with an outpatient clinic. . |
Paw Paw District Library

CSM Group was unanimously voted by the Paw Paw District library board to be the construction manager for their new 20,000 sq. ft library. Unique features of the building will include a community room, fireplace and exterior brampton brick's that will mimic the look of the local Carnegie Building downtown Paw Paw. The new LEED facility is currently under construction right behind the present library with an aniticipated completion date of June 2012.

Family Health Center of Kalamazoo

The Family Health Center of Kalamazoo recently broke ground on the 72,000 square foot expansion and renovation project that will triple the exam room space at the facility on Patterson Street, enabling the Health Center to serve an additional 30,000 Kalamazoo County residents in need each year and bring new jobs to the community.
The facility will result in 66 exam rooms, supported by 22 provider offices, 22 nursing stations, an expanded reception/waiting area, centrally located administration offices, enlarged receiving/storage area, and residency classroom space as well as expanded parking capacity and related site improvements on the expanded property.

Catalyst Development Co., LLC: Corporation Hall Rehabilitation

CSM Group was selected as the construction manager to complete this renovation project for Catalyst Development Co., LLC. The project will consist of a mixed-use lower commercial level with residential units on both the 2nd and 3rd floors. The building is also expected to achieve LEED certification upon project completion.
Congratulations Catalyst Development LLC on receiving your Brownfield Michigan Business Tax Credit on the Corporation Hall Redevelopment Project! The team thanks the City of Kalamazoo and State of Michigan whose outstanding economic development expertise helped make this happen.
