Construction Project Director (Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids, MI): Apply Here

CSM Group has an exciting opportunity for you to become a part of our growing organization.  Our Construction Project Director will lead a project team while being engaged in evolving the strategic direction of our selected market segments.  Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Construction Project Director responsible for the management of multiple, new and existing construction projects.  The successful candidate will provide guidance and direction to project teams comprised of Project Managers, Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.  The Project Director reports to a Group Vice President or the President. The major tasks performed comprise overall project leadership, business development, pre-construction, construction phases, and post construction project phases.  The required competencies for this position include but are not limited to Accountability, Analytical Thinking, Business Acumen, Conflict Management, Customer Focus, Employee Development and Coaching, Innovation and Creativity, and Relationship Building.

This position requires a high level of construction knowledge and at least 10 years’ experience in a leadership role in the construction industry.  The successful candidate may be required to work from either our Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo offices.

 

This is a full time FLSA exempt position requiring at least 40 work hours per week with the ability to work more if required.

 

Project/Construction Manager - Part Time (Various Locations): Apply Here

The Construction Manager provides leadership, direction and oversight during all phases of construction around a fully operational jobsite. This is a multifaceted position with wide ranging responsibilities. The Construction Manager is involved in all phases of the construction process:  preconstruction, construction and post construction.  The Construction Manager coordinates the construction efforts, predicts and resolves conflicts before they impact the project, and delivers timely and cost effective solutions. This position leads and manages projects.  They ensure that the Owner’s highest expectations are met by delivering all projects on time, within budget and in a safe manner. 

This is a part time position requiring a flexible schedule and the ability to travel when necessary.
